EMBRACE THE PLANT-BASED JOURNEY

Hey there,

I’m absolutely thrilled to kickstart my very first blog alongside you. Who would’ve thought that an IT consultant engineer like me would start on this journey?

Well, here I am, ready to share my recipes, story, and insights with all of you!

My goal is simple—empowering people by showing them what is possible, how to make changes happen and thrive on a meaningful life and a plant-based lifestyle.

Let’s talk about embracing a plant-based lifestyle in our busy life.

It’s not always a walk in the park, right?

The truth is, I used to be right there like the majority, savoring meat products and inheriting a believe that was deeply rooted in me.

But you know what? Amidst the cultural norms and traditions, I discovered perseverance and determination.

It makes no sense to adhere to the believes if they’re causing harm to our body, our love ones and to the society. Especially when in our era, there’s so many science and studies showcasing the benefits of going plant-based.

I wanted to feel empowered and make a change happen in my life so I took the driver seat and made my own decisions with all the knowledge that I have at hand during that moment.

HERE’S MY STORY

I used to work with so much pressure, stress and anxiety. I poured my heart into my work to the point that work was my all, my identity. Without it, I am no one. People say you gotta drill, that’s how life is especially for someone who just graduated frm the school.

Sound familiar?

THE TURNING POINT

The turning point came when I was at my darkest and lowest moments.

My body couldn’t keep up, it was failing me regardless the fact that I was actually a pescetarian (not consuming any meat products) that time.

EYE-OPENING REALIZATION

Armed with knowledge from youtube videos (PCRM/Dr. Neal Barnard!) and eye-opening documentaries (Seaspiracy was the one), I decided to cut out fish, eggs and dairy.

And let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Those pizzas and cheeses that used to bring comfort turned out to be a silent source of discomfort. It was time to prioritize my well-being, and the journey had only just begun.

From pescetarian to fully a plant-based lifestyle, I left the cool kid of the neighborhood, Cheese, a symbol of love for the French!

Instead I found a creative replacement in batch-made hummus. My french compagnon Thierry, LOVES it!

THE IMPACT ON WELL-BEING

The impact was remarkable.

Fewer sick days, reduced bloating, and newfound energy.

Yet, a missing piece still lingered.

It wasn’t just about the diet—it was the stressful job that needed a reevaluation.

Yet again, it wasn’t just about the job, it’s how I function, how I allowed it to happen to me without setting up a ceiling (plafond).

Boundaries were needed and that’s where the inner self work started.

From running, meditation, journaling, to self-care, I realized that this journey was about more than just food—it was about reclaiming my well-being.

We all want to connect to a deeper level.

You and I, on this journey of growth, self-discovery, and resilience.

I created my program as a safe space for you and me to explore health and wellness, focus on the positive, and nurture our well-being.

It’s not just about plant-based recipes; it’s about thriving in the midst of our busy lives.

It’s about finding empowerment in every choice, every meal, every moment.
